Cryptic Sponsoring GenCon 2008
Cryptic has stepped up as a sponsor for GenCon 2008 along with co-sponsorsWizards of the Coast and card game maker Upper Deck. This popular analog gaming convention is including an after hours eGame arena courtesy of Cryptic. Not only is the venue new to the convention, it will be the first chance for the public to play Champions Online. The Champions pen and paper RPG has been around since 1981. While the game is certainly not new to GenCon regulars, the Champions Online MMO will be a first.
